On October 4th, 2025, the lush fairways of Mukushi Country Club set the stage for an unforgettable event. We were proud to display our flagship vehicles; the rugged Toyota Hilux DC and the powerful unmatched Toyota Land Cruiser 2.8 GD engine A/T, turning the greens into a dynamic showroom.
Yes, the day was energized by a fantastic turnout. Enthusiasts eagerly participated in test drives, experiencing the unparalleled performance of our models firsthand. The excitement was palpable as guests got behind the wheel.
Adding to the significance of the day, our General Manager, Mr. Micheal Charles Daka was present, actively supporting the team and engaging with our guests. It was a brilliant convergence of sport, community, and automotive excellence, solidifying our commitment to our customers.

The air at the beautiful Decapo Venue crackled with more than just the excitement of a party; it buzzed with the warmth of a family reunion. On September 6th, from the afternoon sun into the evening glow, our entire family from every corner of the nation converged for our annual One Team event. This wasn’t just a corporate gathering; it was a powerful testament to the community we’ve built, brick by brick, together.
The day was a vibrant tapestry of celebration and camaraderie. Laughter echoed through the halls, stories were exchanged between colleagues from Solwezi to Lusaka, and the spirit of unity was palpable. The energy reached a fever pitch during a lively dancing competition, where our most energetic colleagues threw down moves that would put professionals to shame, earning well-deserved prizes and roaring applause from the crowd.

The event was graced by the inspiring words of our Country Delegate, Mr. Dino Bianchi, who reminded us that our greatest strength lies not in our individual achievements, but in our collective heartbeat. “We are one team,” he echoed, a sentiment that resonated deeply in every heart present.
This sense of family made the next moment particularly poignant. We celebrated the incredible dedication of our long-serving team members, whose years of commitment are the very foundation of our success. It was in this atmosphere of gratitude and shared history that we shared bittersweet news. Our Financial Director, Mr. Simon Faraldo, who has been a pillar of our leadership, will be embarking on an exciting new chapter in Kenya in the same role. While we will profoundly miss his guidance and presence, the room swelled with heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for his success. It was a beautiful reminder that while our family may expand across borders, the bonds we forge remain unbreakable.
The celebration then turned to honouring excellence. We recognized the outstanding achievements of our branches in the Programme for Internal Control Assessment (PACI). A huge round of applause went to:
- Solwezi Branch: Crowned the Best Performing Branch – a testament to their unwavering excellence.
- Kitwe Branch: Honored for Most Consistent Performance – proving that reliability is a superpower.
- Multibrand Main: Celebrated as the Best Improved Branch – a shining example of relentless growth and determination.
Furthermore, we celebrated our ANZEN best-performing brands: TopGear Zambia and Multibrand Main. Your dedication to excellence sets the standard for us all.
But the true award, the unspoken prize of the evening, was the powerful sight of every single team member, from every branch, fully present and participating. You danced, you cheered, you listened, and you connected. You were the One Team spirit.
The evening may have ended, but the feeling remains. We are a community. We are a force. We are one team, with one heartbeat, writing our success story together.
Here’s to us!

Situated amid the natural beauty of Mount Tateshina in Chino City, Nagano, Shoko-ji Temple held its annual summer festival on July 17 and 18, dedicated to praying for safety on our roads.
The temple also hosted the Tateshina Meeting, which brings together senior managers from various companies and organizations, including automobile manufacturers, suppliers, and insurers, to discuss a path toward zero traffic accident casualties. Following on from 2019 and 2023, this year marked the third such gathering, focusing on what can be done right now to encourage changes in behavior.
Our own Yuta Tomikawa took part, serving as a panelist in a discussion on the power of media coverage to change how people behave.
How can news coverage contribute to safer streets? In a world where public bashing often occures, how can the causes of accidents be conveyed in a way that helps change individual behavior? Watch the episode to hear different perspectives, including Tomikawa’s comments from the “reporting” side of the equation.
Later in the program, we take an in-depth look at one of the examples brought up during the panel discussion, the Okinawa Yuimaru Project. This community-wide traffic safety initiative launched in 2020, responding to an increase in road etiquette issues and accidents caused by an influx of tourists and travelers using rental cars.
See what industry-government collaboration can accomplish in the realm of road safety.

The lawns of the Lusaka South Country Club in Lilayi were transformed this Sunday into a rolling museum of automotive history. From 09:30 hrs., the air hummed with the soulful melodies of classic engines and shone with the glow of lovingly restored bodywork. The annual Classic Car Show was in full swing, an event dedicated to appreciating the age, design, and incredible stories behind these magnificent machines.
As a proud sponsor of this celebration of motoring heritage, CFAO Mobility Zambia was thrilled to be part of the spectacle. We believe in honoring the legacy of the past while championing the innovations of the future.
And that’s exactly the story we told. Amidst the revered classics, we showcased the modern-day icons that are already building their own legends:
- The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado from our Automark segment stood as a testament to enduring luxury and rugged capability, a pre-owned gem that promises to be a classic of tomorrow.
- The formidable Land Cruiser Double Cab Pick Up 2.8 GD A/T turned heads, demonstrating the power and refinement that define today’s adventures.
Our team of sales consultants were on hand, sharing not just specifications, but the potential for these vehicles to become part of our customers’ own unforgettable stories. The buzz was palpable, especially around our current Hilux Double Cab campaign, highlighting the incredible value and power within the CFAO fleet.
The event was a beautiful fusion of then and now, a reminder that the passion for extraordinary vehicles is timeless.
This fantastic day of community and cars is an annual event, and we are already looking forward to next year’s gathering.
Thank you to everyone who came out to share in the passion. The stories don’t end here—they simply gear up for next year.
We can’t wait to see you at the next one!

In a powerful demonstration of corporate citizenship and international diplomacy, CFAO Mobility Zambia and the Embassy of Japan have joined forces to champion the future of Zambian sport. The partnership was re-enforced today the 20th of August 2025, at a dedicated ceremony at the Toyota Cairo Branch, where sponsorship support for the upcoming Japanese Ambassador’s Judo Cup was formally handed over.
The event was more than a transaction; it was a convergence of vision. The ceremony saw Mr. Peter Blomfield, Chief Operating Officer of CFAO Mobility Zambia, extend a symbolic cheque to Mr. Ominato Satoshi, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Japan.
For Mr. Blomfield, the partnership is a strategic alignment of values. “At CFAO Mobility Zambia, we don’t just move vehicles; we aim to move communities forward,” he stated. “Our collaboration with the Japanese Ambassador’s Judo Cup is a deliberate investment in the raw potential of Zambia’s youth. It is about nurturing the same discipline, resilience, and pursuit of excellence that defines both a champion on the tatami and a leader in life. This is a partnership built on a shared blueprint for progress.”
In acceptance, Mr. Ominato Satoshi reflected on the profound cultural bridge the event represents. “Judo is a gift from Japan to the world, its philosophy woven with the threads of mutual welfare and benefit,” he remarked. “We see this tournament not merely as a competition, but as a dynamic dialogue between our cultures. This generous sponsorship from CFAO Mobility Zambia is a catalyst. It empowers us to amplify this dialogue and impart the core tenets of Judo, respect, courage, and a steadfast spirit to a new generation of Zambians. Together, we are building more than athletes; we are building character.”
This fusion of corporate support and diplomatic vision sets the stage for a landmark event. The 35th Japanese Ambassador’s Judo Cup, overseen by the Zambia Judo Association, promises to be a crucible where sporting dreams are forged, and international friendships are strengthened.
The community is invited to witness this celebration of human potential.
